Government boost for Comic relief

The government tonight backed the public's incredible support for this year's Red Nose Day with £10m support for Comic Relief’s work in improving health and education across Africa. This contribution by the government matches Comic Relief's own commitment to spend £10m in these areas.

Larger ladies make big impact on plus size clothing sales

SUPERWAIF models may be a hit with designers but it is larger ladies, such as comic Dawn French, who are boosting the fashion industry with sales of plus-size clothing rising by 6% to £5 billion this year.
