Question by Ryan P: What is the difference between a personal reference letter and a business reference letter?
Also, would a letter from a high school teacher count as a business reference letter?
Best answer:
Answer by look at yourself
The most basic personal referral would state the endorser has no knowledge of the individual having any questionable non-vocational activities. A business referral could be just as superficial, but would pertain to, at least, a minimal job description. A letter from a teacher would be a personal letter of reference. If that same teacher is acting as a staff adviser, whether either party is compensated or not, would be a professional letter of reference.-
