Question by Da Surf Man: How do I get into architecture classes in college?

I really want to study architecture in college, and I am planning on attending FAU(Florida Atlantic University). I saw the application and it looks like you have to be already accepted and a student at the college to apply for the class, is that usually the case? Also, does an architect make good money? Is it a bachelor's degree or a master's? Thanks for answering all these questions! Have a wonderful day :D

Some professional majors (majors that train you to pass exams to enter that profession, like architecture, nursing, and accounting) won't just let anyone in the program, you need to have at least a minimum GPA and good grades in the prerequisite classes to take the more advanced classes. It makes fairly good money, but it's not a top paying major. This is for the bachelors degree - you need a bachelors before you can apply to a masters program unless the school is offering a BS/MS 5-year program. Some states allow you to be a licensed architect with a bachelors; some require a masters.
