Why is WWE using the Divas title instead of the Womens title?

Question by Zforce: Why is WWE using the Divas title instead of the Womens title?

Now that WWE unified another championship, why are they going to use the Divas Title instead of the Womens title? Doesn't the Womens title have a bigger history? Hopefully a future champion will do what the TNA wrestlers did with the Legions/Global/TV Championship, and rename it back to the Womens Title.

Because they wanted it to sound different from the other promotions, and because they always refer to the ladies as divas, so they thought the title should be called as the divas' title.
